1998 - activists of future organization "Center of assistance to migrants" working in the "Yezidi - Kurdish national community" dedicated to safe guarding the legitimate rights of migrants, refugees and internally displaced persons, representing the Nizhny Novgorod Society for Human Rights. Head of the group on a voluntary basis was Choloyan Hdrovna Almaz, forced migrant from the Republic of Armenia. In connection with the flow of appeals of refugees and stateless persons on the basis of the Nizhny Novgorod regional public organization "Yezidi - Kurdish national community" it was decided by the Board of the Nizhny Novgorod Society for Human Rights on the registration of an independent public organization "Center for Assistance to Migrants." The decision was positive.

2000 - 2005. - On the initiative of "Migrant Centre" and within the "Children's smile against the war" was conducted 9 charity events for 400 children who are taken out of the hot spots of the Chechen Republic with a view to their adaptation, psychological assistance, treatment and training in the Nizhny Novgorod region. In all cases, support for migrants was provided free by the staff of the Center for Assistance to Migrants, volunteers and at the expense of government grants and international projects.
2001 - 2003. - On the initiative of the Migrant Centre, with the support of "Karitos" and Nizhny Novgorod Catholic community organized cultural activities for vulnerable groups with representatives of different national communities in order to increase tolerance and to overcome aggression.
2001 - 2005. - In connection with numerous performances of skinhead at the initiative of the head of Migrant Centre, with the support of the Ministry of Education of Nizhny Novgorod region and GUINOorganizovany meetings in educational colonies for nesovershennoletnihs involving religious priests of different denominations and representatives of ethnic communities to overcome aggression in youth. 2005 - 2014. - On the initiative of the Center for Assistance to Migrants and with the support of representatives of different national communities organized the annual New Year's holidays for the families of migrants, internally displaced and stateless persons in order to adapt and integrate into the local community.
2010. - On the initiative of the Center of assistance to migrants in order to reduce inter-ethnic conflicts and adapt to the local community on the basis of Migrant Centre was organized by the Youth Club "Friendship of youth". More than 100 people of different nationalities, religions and students from abroad are members of the club.
2010 - 2015. - Youth Club "Youth Friendship" with the support of different ethnic communities and through membership fees Volga Migration Center has organized more than 6 charity events in orphanages, boarding schools and children in the Regional Cancer Center devoted to the New Year holidays with prizes and gifts.
